Practicing Gratitude is life changing

“When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around.”

Willie Nelson (B. 1933) SINGER-SONGWRITER”

Appreciation raises your good feelings and vibrations. Gratitude helps you feel better. Those who are grateful are given more, have better relationships and better career success and attract more money & things they love more easily.

Gratitude literally changed my life. FACT!! It is actually now scientifically proven but I do not need to be proven anything to know if something makes me feel good. I am feeling being and I follow what makes me feel good. I think being open to try things out is the right attitude to have in life and checking how you feel afterwards. You do not need science to tell if you something works and helps you feel good.

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” John F. Kennedy

When we talk about any difficulties with money, a relationship, work or health, we are not focused on what we love. When we complain, give out, focus on what we do not love, we will immediately feel bad. When you talk about a bad event in the news, or a person or situation that annoyed or frustrated you, you are not talking about what you love. Talking about the bad day you had, being late for an appointment, getting caught in traffic, or missing the bus are all talking about what you don’t love. There are many little things that happen each day. If you get caught up in talking about what you don’t love, every one of those little things brings more struggle and difficulty to your life. What we focus on, amplifies. So make a deliberate intention to focus on the things you love. When you run into negative situation at work or in relationship, take a moment to turn your mind around by acknowledging the things you love about that situation, or person.

Love the life you live, live the life you love

Bob Marley

Those who are genuinely heartfelt grateful for what they have already will be given more and will notice more things to be grateful. When you notice things to feel grateful for, you will feel happier.

Deliberately feeling grateful for whatever level of abundance you already have is key even if it’s not where you would like it to be. Try to notice the good in your life right now.

Be thankful for what you have, you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough

- Oprah Winfrey

Most people are only grateful when they are in a good place, it’s better to look for things you are grateful for when it feels like there is nothing to be grateful, and you will start to feel better.

On those really hopeless feeling crap days, it feels fake to notice what there is to be grateful.

Look around you, do you have a roof over your head, are you wearing clothes, do you have clean running water, do you have access to hot shower in morning, do you have food to eat, do you have a nice friend, a partner, family? Notice little things in room you are in right now... are you healthy? Is your body able move from a to b? Are you able breathe on your own?

Make lists of things to be grateful

(instead of moaning when you are waiting in queues or traffic, use that time to make mental lists of things to be grateful)

Gratitude lists

Thank you for my health and that I can move my body.

I am grateful for my lovely outfit my partner bought me.

I am so grateful for the lovely coffee chat with my friend.

Thank you for my laptop and wifi.

Thank you for my phone.

Thank you that I can hear, see, smell, touch, talk.

Thank you for every breathe my body takes on its own since I was born.

Thank you for the hot shower I can take every morning.

Thank you for my friends and family.

Thank you for electricity and technology.

“You are human, you will make mistakes, and it’s one of the most beautiful things about being human, but you must learn from your mistakes, otherwise your life will have a lot of unnecessary pain.”

― Rhonda Byrne, The Magic
